On June 28th, Tamar Adler, bestselling author of An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace, will prepare a dinner in honor of the gracious, witty, culinary observer Mary Francis Kennedy Fisher.
Celebrate the paperback release of An Everlasting Meal as Tamar goes back into the kitchen to prepare an MFK Fisher-inspired feast.
Tamar will create a menu that draws from Fisher’s whole body of work, weaving through her time in Dijon, France, to windswept visits to a house on high California bluffs, to the careful copying of a dessert she describes thus: “never was there a dessert more delicate, more fragrant, more sophisticated and naive…”

Tickets are $70 and include snacks, dinner, dessert, wine and beer, and of course, Tamar’s own gracious, witty, culinary and other observations. Dinner will be preceded by a panel discussion (beginning at 6:00pm) on influence and inspiration and a book signing, free and open to the public.
